Clubs and Services

We are a friendly, well organised, responsible club, founded in 1925 by a keen band of local anglers. Based at the Lake in Railway Terrace, the Club has good local waters, with excellent fishing and facilities. We have 130 pegs on the canal around Lady Capels, which offers a variety of fishing with Bream, Chub, Carp plus the usual smaller species. Day tickets are available on the bank from the bailiff. Links with other clubs, provide access to a large selection of away waters through our Club match programme.
